A few minutes here and there!

Hi everyone!

Thank you for continuing to visit and comment even though I’ve hardly had anything to show for a while. I will get back to serious crafting at some point in the future, maybe a few weeks from now 🙂 It’s all rather hectic at this end but a few spare moments here and there with my cross-stitch are helping to keep me sane!! I’m missing crafting so much 🙂

Here is the latest progress on my Bothy Threads narrow boat kit.

A reminder of what it will look like in the end.

Cut Thru' Narrow Boat

I hope you are all having a thoroughly crafty time!

Now I know why you saw steam coming from Nero’s head! That is so beautiful and is going to be amazing! All those tiny details are fantastic and I can imagine how enjoyable it is to work with! I do hope you can find silent moments for your cross stitching. I haven’t sewn anything this week or knit (I thought it’s a great week to knit my forgotten jacket). Now I’m on my way to London again …

  6. Your work is amazing! It is not quantity we are all seeking after but that which is an avenue for our creativity. Each has its own timing. My thoughts are with you…..blessings and wisdom as you carry out the necessary life tasks.

Even though you are short on crafting time Avis, your narrow boat cross stitch is looking great. It will be fantastic when it is finished. Nice to have a project you can pick up when you have a spare half an hour or so. Keep us posted.

    • Hi Lin, this is a perfect project for leaving out on the sofa. My threads are all laid out in order and I have 24 needles threaded with all the different colours in my pin cushion. It’s working a treat 😀 Avis x

    • Thank you! It always makes a big difference when the back stitches are done. I’m not sure I can wait much longer to start that 🙂 Welcome to my blog. It is very kind of you to leave a comment. Avis x

    • Hi, Thank you so much for visiting and leaving a comment 🙂 Yes, there is a lot of work in these designs. I’ve already completed the camper van design which is in my cross stitch category to the right of this page. I actually made that one while I was away on holiday a couple of years ago and it was a lot of fun to do. Avis x
