/ April 9, 2012Thank you my friend! Looks beautiful and just what I need! I thought I would need something to keep my tools when travelling but didn’t know how to make it. Your idea is great and it starts like a mini quilt! We can use also some blocks that are waiting … I think I have just what it needs! Happy sewing! x Teje

/ April 14, 2012I think the photos are just great! Greyness doesn’t show up and the details do show up excellently. What a pretty sewing case too. Lovely fresh colours. If it’s not raining or blowing a gale a good tip is to photograph outside on a grey day, one to maximise the available light which gives truer colours and two, because there are no strong shadows to contend with. Probably preaching to the converted but it’s a tip I learned off my dad years ago and has stood me in good stead.

/ April 15, 2012No! I definitely need lessons in the photography department. I live by the sea so it is usually breezy at least. I will try outdoor photos with my next project (which is almost finished) and you can let me know what you think, as long as the weather allows. Your photos are fabulous!! so I’m more than pleased to take any tips 🙂 Thank you 🙂
Kelly
/ April 15, 2012LOVE this kit! You’ve done a wonderful job, it’s so sweet. I’m definitely copying this one and I can see myself subtly whipping it out at my next sewing class to play for compliments 😛 – thanks for the inspiration!
Oh Sew Tempting
/ April 15, 2012He-he! Good for you! Before you know it, they’ll all want one 🙂 When I go to shows I always have a look at people’s handmade bags and plan to make them 🙂

/ April 23, 2012I am definitely going to steal this one!!! I really could use a small kit for the hand work I drag around with me to activities. I will have to see what materials I have… actually wait somewhere… i think I have the perfect material now I just have to find it!!!
Oh Sew Tempting
/ April 23, 2012Great! I’m actually writing a proper pattern and tutorial for this but you will probably be able to sort it out. Take a look at Teje’s blog as she made another variation which was lovely. Enjoy 🙂
