Hi everyone, Happy Sunday 🙂
Thank you to everyone who has continued to read and comment on my posts while I’ve been so busy. I’m hoping all will be back to normal in a couple of weeks and I’ll then be able to do some quilting again. Fingers crossed!
I thought I’d update you on my progress with the Bothy Threads narrow boat cross stitch. I haven’t done a single stitch since last Monday but I’m having the day off from busy family stuff and I hope to get lots of crosses done today. This is where I’m up to now.
Also, I can reveal my completed blackwork project. This was made as part of a Stitch Along with Claire. You can see lots of other versions in different colours here. I hope Claire doesn’t mind that I’ve posted this finish a week early as I don’t know when I’ll get to write again. Claire has recently finished her Alphabet Sampler and I love the way she made it like a mini-quilt. I’ve copied her idea and the finished result is a wall hanging I’ll be pleased to display on my wall. I hope you like it too! Here are the stages as I stitched along with Claire.
