Just one block to show today. This one is called Charlie Stokey’s Star and I really enjoyed making it.   1. Oh, I love this one! I think today will be spent clearing away after our trip away and doing laundry, but I can hope for an hour later on, maybe!

    • I must admit I’ve been looking a bit further through the book to see what’s coming up and I like them all🙂 Each one is a mini finish but I’m very tempted to start adding some sashing to make the rows now or it’ll drive me insane to do it all at the end.

    The pieces on the blocks are getting smaller and smaller. Talk about patience. I wonder how the the ladies of the civil war managed to see to complete those tiny seems. They only had candle and oil light.

    • Ah, so you see, it isn’t as difficult for me as it might have been😉 I imagine they were all nattering while they were stitching as well. That’s something else I can’t do, talk and sew.
