The Loyal Union Sampler Block 9/121

Hi everyone,

I’m really enjoying these tiny blocks from the Loyal Union Sampler. I’ve been following the book by Jennifer Chiaverini. This pattern is called Blockade. Having only 16 pieces meant it was extremely easy to sew compared to recent blocks. Oops, I’ve just spotted a thread to snip!

Here is the virtual quilt so far. It’s taken me a whole year to get to this point!

LUS 9 Blocks Happy sewing!

what vibrant blues and crisp, neat piecing.
Mind you, if you continue at this pace, with 9 a year, you’ll be grey and wrinkled by the time you get all 121 blocks finished lol.

Another lovely block, even with the added thread! LOL.

  3. Another lovely one. Are you doing them all in order, row by row? Or are you going to allow yourself to skip here and there, doing one you really love when you need a boost, and getting several dull ones done when you have a bit of time to spare?

  4. Only sixteen teeny pieces? It must have been a doddle then 😉

  5. Perfect piecing, love your color choice for the sampler. Barbora

  6. That one is really simple compared to the last one, but it’s still lovely 🙂

  7. I always spot loose threads AFTER taking the photo. The magic of the lens, right?

  8. One more great block! And now it´s time to speed it up or………. 🙂

I really enjoy reading your comments. Have a lovely day :-)
