I’ve concentrated on quilting for my new blog but I didn’t get time to sew today so I’m showing a cross stitch I finished last year. I’ve decided to add a new category so I can share other pieces from time to time 🙂 This design is by Bothy Threads. It was great fun to do and I never got bored with it as there was always a new object to stitch. It is amazing what people need to take on a camping holiday 🙂 I hope you like it!

/ April 12, 2012Gorgeous! The main reason I made my blog about my ‘crafting attemps in general’ was so I often had something to chat about 🙂 I love your blog, keep it up!

/ April 12, 2012Yes, I should have started off more “general” as I do lots of crafts. Thanks Quirky! You are always so supportive 🙂

/ April 12, 2012my blog started out as cross stitch, and then I sort of added categories as I went (including my furry friends, good books, and more recently patchwork). I think the important thing is to enjoy what you’re writing about, and then others will enjoy reading.
And on another note – now I know why we don’t go camping lol wouldn’t know where to put all my junk plus the 4 cats and 1 dog ^^

/ April 12, 2012I love camping and the fresh air. If I can’t have my sewing machine with me, a needle and a few threads will do 🙂

/ April 12, 2012I love the details of this old hippie camper van. Fishbone! 🙂
Oh Sew Tempting
/ April 12, 2012Yes! I wondered why all of the bits in the sand were paler than the rest and then realised it is a cross section of the entire scene so the water pipe and the fishbone are underground. I’m a bit slow to catch on sometimes 😀
