    • I don’t think they are uncommon in India. This one is old and used. There were some thread ends that are coming away and I’m tempted to repair them but I’ve resisted as it does add to the charm really.

      • I’m sure you’re right. I’ve never been to India. I think the issue is not finding a beaded elephant, but finding an attractive beaded elephant. If that makes sense.

        • It does make sense :-) The background on this one is more rosy than pink and I managed to get the crease out of the centre too!
